Jacob can't wait to be your partner in life. He is a purebred white Labrador Retriever with deep black eyes who will melt your heart. He is about 3 years old and is full of life. He bonds quickly with his person and sticks to your side. He will lay by your feet as you work on the computer, lay by you when you watch TV, and sleep with you at night. He loves helping with yard chores and is quick to pick up the pieces and haul them away...he is a funny guy. Jacob is a happy go lucky boy who will require daily exercise and playtime with his family. He is very good on leash and loves his daily walks. Throw a toy or a ball and he is happy to bring it back over and over! With some fun time he will come in and relax and hang out for the rest of the night. He is crate trained and can be left crated for up to 5 hours. He is learning his house manners and with supervision, he is house trained. He has good manners and has been professionally trained so knows his commands and will do them when asked. Jacob is not a big fan of other dogs and would really rather be an only pet in his home. He is a dog where his family needs to understand he cannot be off leash with other dogs or taken to dog parks. He is uncomfortable in those situations and he does not react well. He also likes to chase small animals so we recommend no cats or other furry friends in his forever home. We are looking for a family who will make this handsome boy a priority in their life and who will take his needs seriously. If you follow our advice and requirements with Jacob, he will be your amazing forever companion. He will melt your heart, make you smile, and give you a reason to come home at night! His foster cannot rave enough about Jacob and the joy he has brought to his foster family. If you are interested in meeting Jacob, your first step is completing an adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
