Meet Zander! This sweet boy is around 1 year old and a smaller Lab mix at only 35 lbs. After living in a foster home he is now healthy and has a beautiful thick and glossy coat although he’s missing a few teeth which allows his tongue to hang out in a perpetual half smile. Zander loves life, he will shred tissues from the trash if allowed, keeps his tail wagging and does the best wiggle dance to welcome you home. Zander puts himself in his crate at night and is house trained. He does well with his foster siblings, but barks at cats. He loves children but can be a little mouthy when he plays (he still has some puppy in him and is working on learning manners) so either a family with dog savvy kids or older kids would be best. At adoption events Zander does not understand he can’t play with all the other dogs and gets a bit noisy. He just LOVES to say hi to everyone and will greet you like a long lost friend, bringing a big smile to the face of everyone he meets. Who would deny his crooked grin? Apply to meet this playful boy today! If you are interested in Zander, your first step is to submit an adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
