This gorgeous girl is Eliza! She is a 2 year old Husky mix who is fun and frisky and quite silly. At just 40 lbs., she is on the petite side for a Husky but she more than makes up for it in personality. She has settled into her foster home and loves playing with her four-legged foster sibling. She is also a toy aficionado and carefully chooses which toy she wants to play with out of the toy box. Eliza is a bit on the independent side, but checks in regularly for pets and kisses and then is off and away to see what other fun is to be had. Sadly, this sweet little girl has a heart condition that will require that she be on medication for the rest of her life and could effect her longevity. Also, she shouldn't do any strenuous exercise, so unlike many Huskies, she isn't going to make a great running or hiking buddy. Eliza is crate trained and house trained with a doggie door. She loves going for walks and meeting new friends, especially kids. She is great in the car and travels well. Eliza is a smart girl and is treat motivated and takes them very gently. Eliza has great house manners, but in true Husky fashion, she can be a bit mischievous. She will needs lots of mental stimulation so she can be the best dog she can be. If you are interested in learning more about Eliza's heart condition and/or adopting her, your first step is to complete the adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption.
