Say hello to Kanona! She might be small, but she'll definitely leave a big impact on your heart! Kanona is a tiny Chihuahua and weighs about 15 lbs. This sweet girl gave birth to 8 healthy puppies. With the help of her foster mom the pups were bottle fed for a few days and then mom took over. The pups are thriving and are the most fluffy and adorable dogs! Now that her pups are ready to find their forever homes, cute little Kanona can put motherhood behind her and find her forever home, too! Kanona is such a loyal and sweet girl who bonds very quickly with her person. When she loves you, she loves you with all her heart. When you come home, she likes to run up and jump up on your leg ever so gently with her whole body bending back and forth with happiness. When you pick her up she will hug you back. At night for TV or computer time she will crawl up next to you ever so small and snuggle in for warm hugs. Kanona is looking for a more quiet and calm home. Big noises and a lot of hustle and bustle are a little much for this tiny little bundle of joy. She does well with older, gentle kids and other dogs. Kanona is house trained and has good manners. Her foster has left her alone with 4 other dogs for as up to 5 hours, and she's been fine. When outside, she should not be left unsupervised. Kanona likes to sleep under a blanket, either at the foot of her foster mom's bed or in a doggy bed. She is food motivated and should be easy to train. She has learned “stay” quickly and is very smart and eager to please. Kanona is looking for a loving family that will spoil her like the princess she is! If you are interested in meeting Kanona, fill out an application today and join us at one of our upcoming adoption events.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
