Meet Koda! He is a 9 month old Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd although his foster family also thinks he may have some German Shepherd and Flat Coated Retriever in him as well. Koda is a very sweet boy who gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. He lives with 6 other dogs and is submissive to all of them. Still a young pup, Koda is working on learning his manners and boundaries in his foster home. Sometimes he likes to practice trying to herd other dogs and kids so he is working on not using his mouth to play. He is housetrained, knows how to use a dog door, and sleeps in his crate at night. Koda is a smart boy who is eager to please and treat motivated. He is learning to wait for permission before getting on furniture and doing great with leash training on walks. Koda knows being inside the house means calming down but outside he loves to run and play. He is medium energy and needs a few reminders to tone it down at times but he listens well to a strong pack leader. He is a good watchdog and lets you know when someone is at the door but when you open the door, he steps back on command and gives you and the newcomer space like a good boy. Koda is a wonderful pup who will make a great family dog! If you are interested in meeting Koda, your first step is to submit an online adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
