Long legs, goofy tongue and love for water are just some of the traits that make Janis such a lovable gal! She is about 4 years old and we think she's a mix of a few breeds- Lab and Hound, and possibly Great Dane. Her coat is short and sleek, with patches of dark brindle that is hard to see in photos. Janis came to Labs and More with her 10 puppies when her previous owners could no longer care for this big family. Janis was a wonderful mother but has finished with her puppy duties and is ready to be pampered in a loving home all her own. We've been told that Janis is house-trained and can be left alone for up to 8 hours without any issues. She likes going for car rides and on adventures. We are also told she is good with kids. Janis is talkative and very friendly. At adoption events, she's always one of the first dogs in the doggie pools and is quick to pose for the camera. You'll love watching her frolic in the water at the beach, and she'll brighten up every day with her big goofy grin.We tested Janis with a non-reactive cat at an adoption event and found her to be not too interested. She sniffed and walked away, we sensed she might be afraid of cats so kitties might not be a good fit for Janice or with time and training, she might be able to live with a cat. If you are interested in meeting Janis, your first step is to submit an adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is completing the adoption application, available with our adoption process on our website at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
