Meet handsome Gregor! This 62 lb. gorgeous guy is a true gentle giant. His foster family calls him "Beau." At around 1 year old, Gregor is a black Labrador Retriever mix who can't wait to find his forever family! Gregor is crate trained and is working on house training and learning where to go outside. He does well in the house with frequent bathroom breaks every 2-3 hours. His foster parents spend most of the day and night with him and think he would do well in a home where his new family is around often. A true snugglebug, Gregor's favorite indoor activities are "being 2 feet from my human" and "sitting on the couch with my head in someone's lap." He is so loving toward his people! Gregor is learning to be more gentle and less mouthy, so he would do best with older children and adults. Sweet Gregor is very treat motivated and is working on recall and basic commands with his foster family, like "sit," "lay down," "drop," and "leave it." He'll give up his favorite toy -- a tennis ball -- if you say "mine." Gregor's foster family thinks he'd do well in obedience classes! He is strong on the leash and is working on his leash manners. A harness might be best for this big, strong guy. Gregor loves to be active and would thrive in a home with a yard and plenty of exercise and frequent trips to the dog park. He loves to run in the backyard! Gregor loves to chew his favorite toys, like Nylabones, bully sticks and Greenies. No squeaker is safe from him -- he likes to pull them out! Gregor gets along well with other dogs but doesn't show much interest in playing. Gregor eats quickly, so his foster thinks he'd benefit from a slow feed bowl. Though he may be part Lab, Gregor isn't too interested in swimming. He'll occasionally lie on the first step of the pool, but is still hesitant about going swimming. Gregor came to Labs and More pretty sick and he is getting the TLC he needs in an experienced foster home. He won’t be ready for his forever home until he feels better in a few weeks. As he recovers, check back here for updates on him. Interested in meeting Gregor? Your first step is to submit an online adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home.
