Meet handsome Gregor! This 62 lb. gorgeous guy is a true gentle giant. His foster family calls him "Beau." At around 1 year old, Gregor is a black Labrador Retriever mix who can't wait to find his forever family! Gregor is crate trained, but doesn't need to be crated when left at home for short periods of time. He is working on house training and learning where to go outside, but he does well in the house with frequent bathroom breaks every 2-3 hours. When he's home by himself, Gregor isn't destructive, but he does like to carry shoes around the house! His foster parents spend most of the day and night with him and think he would do well in a home where his new family is around often.

Gregor is learning to be more gentle and less mouthy, so he would do best with older children and adults.

Sweet Gregor is very treat motivated and is working on recall and basic commands with his foster family, like "sit," "lay down," "drop," and "leave it." He'll give up his tennis ball if you say "mine." Gregor's foster family thinks he'd do well in obedience classes! Gregor is strong on the leash and is working on his leash manners. A harness might be best for this big, strong guy. He's starting to show a little interest in his foster's pool, but is still hesitant about going swimming.

Gregor loves to chew his favorite toys, like Nylabones, bully sticks and Greenies. No squeaker is safe from him -- he likes to pull them out! Gregor gets along well with other dogs but doesn't show much interest in playing. He is so loving toward his people! If you're lying on the couch, he'll put his head on your lap and snuggle.

Gregor came to Labs and More pretty sick and he is getting the TLC he needs in an experienced foster home. He won’t be ready for his forever home until he feels better in a few weeks. As he recovers, check back here for updates on him. Interested in meeting Gregor? Your first step is to submit an online adoption application.
