Meet Dobby! Who could resist the permanent smile on this little guy's face?! Dobby is about 6 months old, and is a Shepherd and Doberman Pinscher mix. Dobby has adorable ears and big paws he'll be growing into. His mom, Bahia, is a tall, long-legged girl at about 50 pounds, but we aren't sure who dad is so we can't say for sure how big little Dobby will get. This cutie loves to meet new friends- human or canine- and he just can't contain his joy so he will jump on you. He's a smart little dude so with some training we think he'll quickly learn this isn't the best way to greet someone. Dobby simply loves other dogs, of all sizes! He loves to roll in the grass and play with his new friends, and is looking for a forever home that will let him have lots of playtime. Still a young guy, Dobby is working on house training, as well as leash skills in his foster home. His foster mom says that Dobby is perfect in his crate, and is a virtually silent little guy while in there. Dobby isn't particularly treat motivated, but he gets the message when you tell him no. Dobby's foster mom says that he sticks to her like glue when they are out on walks. He's a playful little guy and while he'd prefer a buddy to play with, he's content to throw the tennis ball around for himself if noone is available. He's met several kids and has done well with all of them, so we think he would make an excellent family dog. Dobby is looking for a family that understands the time, energy and training needed in raising a young pup like him so that he can grow up to become the best companion he can be. He is still new to Labs and More so check back here for updates on him!

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies.
