Shazam! This tall boy is a Shepherd mix around 1 year old. Shazam was kicked out of a car and rescued by a good Samaritan. In spite of his not so nice beginnings, Shazam is as sweet as can be. He is gentle and plays well with dogs of all sizes. Shazam has a fair bit of energy but after a walk and playtime, he settles down well and gets to his favorite activity which is cuddling! Shazam loves to snuggle up with pillows and blankets and especially loves laying on his foster family's laps. He likes sleeping with his people, curled up right against them. Shazam is house trained once he has a few reminders and knows he is supposed to go outside to potty. He can be a bit mischievous at times so should be crated for now if you leave him alone. He listens well and is doing great with leash training. Shazam is pretty interested in the kitties in his foster home and trying to learn a few boundaries with them, but he does like to try to chase them. He will need proper introductions, training and a strong pack leader that reminds him of those boundaries should he go to a home with kitties in it and he would probably do better with cats already familiar with dogs. Shazam is handsome and sweet and any family would be lucky to have this special boy! If you are interested in meeting Shazam, submit your adoption application on our website.
