If you are someone who loves the happy playful personality of a Pittie girl but in a small package, Kayak is your girl! At about 35 lbs, Kayak has a gorgeous amber colored coat and amber eyes. She is about 1 year old. Kayak delivered her 11 puppies in the safety of a warm and loving foster home. Her pups have since found their homes and now it's Kayak's turn. Kayak is a very sweet girl that loves her people and can't get enough love in return. She will curl up in your lap for snuggle time and nap time if you let her. She is okay walking and being around other dogs but does not want to live with another dog. She is not fond of playing with other dogs and would rather not have to. She would also do best in a home without cats. She loves to cuddle and play with her people but can be a little over eager so might be too rough for little kids. Kayak walks great on leash and loves her time out on walks. She does have an old leg injury that will need to be occasionally managed with pain medication as needed but she gets along just fine and surgery was not recommended for her. Kayak has received professional training to learn her basic commands and help her get a solid footing to find her forever home. She knows "sit," "down," "wait," and "no". She is house trained in her current foster home. She isn't too fond of the crate but will go in there to sleep at night. She would prefer a home where someone in her family is home more often than not during the day. If you are interested in meeting sweet Kayak, please submit an adoption application our website. If you've adopted from us before or are already approved to adopt, reach out to your adoption coach for the next steps.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
