Meet Ferrara! This sweet girl is around 2 years old and is a Shepherd mix. She came to Labs and More pregnant and in some serious need of TLC. She has taken excellent care of her pups and is finished with motherhood and ready for a forever home of her own. Ferrara is a doll! She is a sweet girl that loves to play. She has a lot of young, puppy energy still and would love a home with a yard for her to run around in and a family with an active lifestyle that can take her on plenty of outdoor adventures. She would love to be your new jogging buddy and she loves to go for long walks, eagerly exploring all she can. She likes to play with toys. Her rope toy is her favorite but she is also a big fan of chasing after balls. At the same time, she loves to flop down next to you and snuggle up as close as possible.

Ferrara is house trained and lets you know when she has to go outside. She is still learning the crate. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in her foster mom's bedroom. She is very treat motivated and knows "sit." Ferrara is still refining a few manners in her foster home such as not nipping people to get their attention or chewing on things she shouldn't. She would do best in a home with older kids that don't mind getting knocked over every now and then. She can be a little wary of new places and her new family will need to have patience as she settles in and learns everything is ok. While she hasn't met many dogs one on one, her interactions with other dogs have been curious and playful. If you are interested in meeting Ferrara or any of our dogs, please submit an adoption application. Please note processing time for applications is about 3 weeks. If you are a previous adopter or approved to adopt with an adoption coach, please reach out to your coach for the next steps.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
