Brookie was rescued from the Riverside Shelter as a stray where she arrived with an injured hip, likely from getting hit by a car. She received the surgery she needed and is now recovering in a foster home. Brookie will be ready for adoption closer to the end of May or early June. We believe she is around 2 years old and a Lab and Flat Coated Retriever mix.
