This sweet little low rider is Esperanza! She is a 2.5 years old Labrador mix with something much smaller like a Corgi or Dachshund. Esperanza LOVES every human she meets and likes to follow people around. She enjoys cuddling and will push her sweet little face under your arm for all the pets she can get and she’ll squirm her way onto your lap if you let her. Because she loves her people so much, she wants all the attention for herself and does not like to share with other pets. She is not the biggest fan of other dogs and needs to be the one and only dog in her home. Esperanza has learned to shake paws, sit, wait and lay down at her foster home and is looking forward to going to training with you, so she can continue to learn to be the best dog she can be. She walks great on leash and will make a nice running buddy to keep you company while you hit the trails. She absolutely loves fetch and will drop the ball in your lap and WIGGLE her back end until you toss it again! Her favorite toy is an orange nerf football, and she could occupy herself for hours playing with it. Sometimes Esperanza can get a little nippy when playing so she would do better in a home with older children or no children. Esperanza is house trained and will let you know when she has to go by whimpering by the door. She is also crate trained with treat encouragement and can be left crated while you are away for the day, but also does well in an enclosed area for 3 to 4 hours. She would love to snuggle on the bed with you, but will sleep on her dog bed. If you are interested in Esperanza, your first step is to submit an online adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is completing the adoption application, available with our adoption process on our website at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
