There is something about the strength of a mom and Sleigh is one such mom. She arrived within days of delivering, unable to stand due to a broken leg. She was weak and in pain but still delivered and cared for her newborn pups. A loving foster home helped this sweet girl care for her puppies until they were adopted then helped get Sleigh back on her feet. She is now fully recovered and ready for her forever home. We believe Sleigh is around 2 years old and is a Shepherd and Boxer mix with also possibly some Pit Bull Terrier giving her a stockier build. She has a pretty brindle coat and kind loving eyes that will melt your heart. Sleigh is a loyal and steadfast girl who loves her people. She is very easy to have around and would be a great match for a family looking for a lower to medium energy level dog. She is very content with a soft bed and lots of pats on the head. Sleigh has good house manners and is house and crate trained. She is fostered with several other dogs and does great with them all. She will engage in a little playtime but after awhile, prefers to go lay out in the sun instead. Sleigh recently met a nonreactive cat at one of our adoption events and ignored him so we think with time and training, Sleigh could learn to live with a cat. Sleigh's favorite past time is finding her favorite bone and her favorite bed and enjoying some leisurely chew time! Sleigh loves her walks and is ready as soon as you grab her leash. She doesn't need to go very far as long as she gets out every day. Sleigh would be great first dog for a family just starting out or a family who is looking for an easier loving, laid back and enjoyable girl. If you are interested in Sleigh, your first step is to submit an online adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
