Endearing and kind are the top two words her foster mom would use to describe Colette, a beautiful 2 year old Lab mix. Before coming to Labs and More, this dear girl met with some hard times in her life but has not let that get her down. She adores her foster mom and has blossomed in an environment where she feels safe and loved. This sleek girl delivered and cared for her 8 adorable pups. Now that her pups are ready to find their forever homes, Colette is looking to put motherhood behind her and is excited to find a forever home for herself. At about 40 pounds, Colette is a smaller black Labrador mixed with some kind of smaller dog, possibly a Terrier. She has a stunning black velvety and shiny coat with beautiful amber eyes that are as kind as can be. She is both house and crate trained in her current foster home and has good house manners. She loves to snuggle in your arms and will lay her head on your shoulder for hugs. Colette will need a calm and gentle environment to continue to build her confidence. It takes her time to warm up to new people and to have the confidence to be near you. With patience and time this girl is your loyal friend and follower. Her foster mom is greeted every morning with a happy Lettie who jumps up on her for hugs, this is something that will come with her new family with some time and patience. We are looking for a calmer home with no small children for Lettie. After greeting her foster mom warmly when she comes home, daily walks are one of Colette's favorite times of the day. If you are interested in Colette, your first step is to submit an adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
