Meet sweet Louisiana! This beautiful little lady is a Labrador/Terrier mix. She is around 1 year old and came to Labs and More pregnant and delivered a super cute litter of puppies in one of our foster homes. She was a great mama and now that she is finished with her puppies, she is ready to put parenthood behind her. We think this pretty girl is the perfect medium-size dog and because she is on the lower energy side, we think she would do well in an apartment or condo setting or in a single family home. Louisiana is an affectionate gal who loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. She will even sweetly hold out her paw to tell you she wants love. This gentle girl gets along well with other dogs but she is all about her people so we're guessing that she isn't going to need another dog in her forever home to be happy. She IS going to need a feline free home because she thinks kitties are very fun to chase. Louisiana is house trained and has good house manners. She is food motivated and a quick learner and is mastering her basic training in her foster home. This happy girl has excellent leash etiquette, doesn't pull and looks up at you often to make sure she is matching your pace. Louisiana is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night although we suspect she'd prefer sleeping in bed with you. If you are interested in this very sweet girl, or any of our dogs, apply today online at our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
