Meet Lysa! This sweet girl is 2 years old and a Shepherd mix. Lysa came to Labs and More with her 4 adorable puppies but Lysa is finished with motherhood and ready to find a forever family of her own. She has had some training before coming to Labs and More and is very treat motivated. She knows sit, is working on down and will give you her paw if you say "show me what you got." Lysa quickly settled into her foster home, meeting the resident dog with a relaxed confidence that her foster says makes her think she'll ease into her new life with grace and aplomb. Lysa met a nonreactive cat at one of our adoption events and showed no interest in the cat, but she does like chasing after rabbits and other critters that run away in the backyard. With patience, proper introductions and training, Lysa may be able to live with a dog-savvy cat. Lysa likes affection but she doesn't need to be smothered. She loves a few belly rubs and will give you some kisses in return then is quite content to settle into her own space. She likes her nap time in the sun and sleeping in a dog bed in the same room as you. Lysa can be left home alone without any trouble and knows how to use a dog door to let herself outside. She likes her long walks and is doing well learning to walk on leash. If you are interested in Lysa, your first step is to submit an online adoption application.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
