Meet Arizona! She has a permanent puppy face and sweet puppy dog eyes! This former mama is around 1 year old and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. Arizona came to Labs and More pregnant and was a wonderful mom to her puppies who have all since been adopted. Now it's this sweet girl's turn! Arizona gets along with both dogs and cats. She does well with the small dogs in her foster home and meeting new dogs on social outings, but she really loves dogs around her size that like to play. She loves to play and wrestle and we think she'd love a playful dog sibling in her forever home. She has a lot of energy and would benefit from lots of trips to the dog park and/or doggie daycare and an active family that can keep her mentally and physically exercised daily. Arizona loves going to the lake for a stroll and has good leash manners. She is a super sweet girl that is all about her people. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. Every human is her new best friend and she loves to give as many kisses as she can. She is house trained when she has access to a yard every few hours and is working on crate training. She is still learning a few house manners and what she can and can't chew on when left home alone so she should be crated when you leave for longer periods of time. She is a power chewer and absolutely loves toys. Arizona is a smart girl that already knows sit, down and stay. This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
