Alma, a 4 year old Collie mix, arrived hoping she was going to be met with loving arms and that she was! She was in need of some TLC and immediate vet care. With the help of Labs and More these needs were met. Prior to arriving this girl had a very poor life living on her own without care and support and raising multiple litters of pups along the way. To say she is a survivor is an understatement. This girl's heart is bigger than life despite the obstacles she has overcome in her life. She now has a full head of hair, she can get around on her own, and she is almost able to use her back leg. Each day this girl's personality blossoms a bit more if that is even possible. She is the most loving, kind, giving and supportive soul you will ever meet. She is so thankful for the kindness of humans even after so many turned their backs on her. Alma gives you lots of hugs, kisses and wags to be sure you don't forget how grateful she is. To think she was near her death is reason enough to fall in love with the surviving spirit this girl has. She is a true joy and a love! Alma is good with other dogs and will play with them and loves to give the other dogs kisses. She is both house and crate trained in her current foster home. She is good with everyone she meets and is kind when she greets others. She can go on nice short walks and is an easy going girl. Alma will not be ready for her forever home for a few more weeks but check back here to follow her progress. If you are interested in playing a part in Alma's happily ever after as her forever home, submit your adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
