Meet Dawson! This velvety soft girl is a black Labrador Retriever, and we think she is 3 to 4 years of age. She just raised a beautiful litter of 8 adorable Lab mix pups and is now ready to find her forever home. She was the best of moms with a calm and caring personality with her kids. She is very true to her breed with a happy, trusting, loyal and friendly personality. She is easy going and a joy to have as a foster girl. Dawson has met many dogs in her foster home and all have been her friend. When she meets dogs on walks, her tail wags and she walks right by them. She recently met a cat at one of our past adoption events and did well. We think with proper introduction and training, Dawson could live with a cat in her forever home. Her spirit is full of a desire to please those who love her and in return she will love them back. She is a great house mate with good manners with a laid back personality. She would make a wonderful dog for a family looking for an easy dog to manage. Daily walks are right up her alley and she is perfect on leash. She knows her basic commands and will do them for a tasty treat that she will take gently from your hand. She is kind to people, big and small, old and young. Dawson is both house and crate trained in her current foster home. There are not a lot of beautiful, easygoing, smart and precious girls like this in the rescue world, you better hurry as she will get adopted quickly. If you are interested in meeting Dawson, your first step is to submit an adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
