Meet Wintry! She is a Beagle mix and we think she is about 2 years old. Wintry came to Labs and More pregnant where she delivered her adorable puppies and was a good little mama to them. Her pups have been adopted and Wintry is ready for a forever home of her own. Wintry is a special girl who survived Distemper. She twitches, bobs her head as if dancing to a music only she can hear, and can be a little uncoordinated at times. It doesn't slow her down too much and she can keep up with her people just fine. In spite of her rough beginnings, this little girl's tail is always wagging and she has a positive, happy attitude about almost everything. Wintry is a lower energy girl. She enjoys a daily stroll around the neighborhood followed by lots of cuddle time. Wintry loves all people, big and small. This girl is all about her humans and loves to give you big hugs when you get home. Her favorite spot is curled up in your lap on the couch so she will need a family that allows her on furniture. She is way more interested in people than other dogs and can be a bit of a diva when it comes to dogs all up in her personal space. She likes all the attention for herself and will need to be the only dog in her forever home. She is not interested in playing with other dogs and is not a dog park kind of girl. She does get along with cats, ignoring them. Wintry is house trained when she has access to a yard. She doesn't like to be left home alone long and will need a family where someone is home more often than not. True to her Beagle breed, Wintry loves food and is very treat motivated. She knows “sit”, “shake”, and she has great recall. If you are interested in meeting Wintry and giving her a home for the holidays, please submit an adoption application on our website.

This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at www.labsandmore.org and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
